How to Promote Your Fundraiser

The fundraisers that raise the most all have one thing in common: someone kept telling people about it from the day it opened to the day it closed. Here's how.

Launch Loud on Day One

Post the store link everywhere the day it opens: Facebook, Instagram, email and the team group chat. Say what the money is for and when the store closes.

Put the Link Where Families Look

Add it to the school newsletter, the booster Facebook page, team apps and the athletic website. Print a QR code for games, concessions and meetings.

Ask Others to Share

Coaches, parents, players and alumni each reach people you can't. Send them a short message they can copy and paste so sharing takes ten seconds.

Show the Gear

Post pictures of the shirts and hoodies, not just the link. People buy what they can see, so lead with your best-looking item.

Post Updates Along the Way

Share a quick update each week: orders so far, how close you are to the goal, a new photo. Every update is a reason to post the link again.

Count Down the Close

Remind people one week out, two days out and on the last day. A clear deadline catches everyone who meant to order.

Pick One Person to Own It

Promotion stalls when it is everyone's job. Put one name on it, hand them this list and have them keep posting until the store closes.
